Sewook Yoo

As a member of the planning and control team at seoul national university's vehicle intelligence lab, I am focusing on research improving the performance and safety of autonomous robotic platforms. I participate in various private and government projects, where I am responsible for developing and validating algorithms through virtual scenarios that simulate urban and off-road environments, thus building a testbed for autonomous driving systems. As a researcher, I am concentrating on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) learning techniques such as reinforcement learning (RL) and imitation learning (IL) into driving algorithms. By doing so, I lead the technological development to effectively respond to diverse real-world situations. These technologies are crucial components of autonomous driving modules, which are mounted on actual vehicle platforms to improve performance in the field.
